Eventmasters, the Birmingham-based corporate hospitality specialist, has recently confirmed a new sponsorship deal with Worcester Racecourse. They have agreed to sponsor the complete card on Thursday 15th July - a popular evening fixture at the ARC venue.
The fixture will be named "The eventmasters.co.uk Race Night" and will include 7 races, which will be made available on an individual race sponsorship basis to the company's racing clients. The agreement includes exclusive use of the Parade Ring Marquee and the sponsorship package will include full corporate hospitality and post-racing live music, over 100 guests are expected to attend.
Stuart Parsons, Sales Manager at Eventmasters and an expert in horse racing hospitality, said, "we are delighted to be working with Worcester. While this is the first event we have staged with the Racecourse, we hope it will become an annual event as we have had a terrific response from our clients with 5 of the 7 races already taken.
"Our return from furlough on 1st March has been fantastic and we are all looking forward to the end of what has been a horrendous 14 months. Many clients agreed to carry their bookings across from 2020 to 2021, and in some cases, such as Aintree and Royal Ascot, we have had to roll over to 2022; their understanding, patience and support have been key. We can't wait to get going again, and our Sponsored Race Night at Worcester Racecourse will be the first of many."
Denise Sheasby, CEO of Eventmasters Group, said: "We are always keen to stage sponsored race meetings - horse racing hospitality has become a key part of our overall hospitality inventory. It is great to be involved with local venues, and our summer event at Worcester nicely compliments our Christmas race day at Warwick. Sadly, clients have been restricted from attending both the Cheltenham Festival and Chester May Festival; however, we can all see the light at the end of the tunnel now and are very positive about the future."
Michael Thomas, General Manager at Worcester Racecourse, said: "We look forward to crowds returning to the Racecourse - there should be a great atmosphere on Eventmasters Sponsored Race Night."
This will be the Company’s first event after the scheduled no-restrictions date set in the Government road map of Monday 21st June. Full details can be found on Eventmasters’ website.
